Good coffee, food and atmosphere. Having a space for a artists' exhibition in the same space is a bonus. Good experience.

I stayed 100m away at MyStays Premier Hotel. I found this cafe on the first day of my snow festival hols and visited 3 times. Opens at 10.30am each day. Combined with a small gallery. It is excellent. Limited menu although, wow, pasta carbonara and strong blended coffee for Y1,200 - perfect. Thank you very much.

I went there to have a quiet painting time because it looked very artsy and it did not disappoint me. I ordered the Curry set B with earl grey black tea and they were both very delicious and not pricey at all! There was only 1 small thing I wanna warn ppl who wanna come here though is you are allowed to smoke so if you do not like cigarettes maybe you need to watch out. I mean you might love the environment too! And I hope I’m able to just order a whole pot of tea and just read or paint in the restaurant while having something to drink. I did like the set don’t get me wrong, but I won’t eat while painting (or reading a book cus I don’t want to accidentally get it dirty). But if I had more drinks then I don’t have to quickly finish my food then paint :).

Less is more! Comfy, inexpensive & a great place to work on laptop at the same time sipping a cup of coffee plus a piece of cake!

The cafe has a nice coffee and a cozy atmosphere. I tried black, cappuccino, and Viennese coffee. They serve coffee in beautiful pottery, which makes the visual experience better. The cakes I tried are not mind-blowing but are average in taste, I would say. Cheesecake pie and chocolate cherry cakes were dense, but the taste can be significantly improved. The place is very quiet and optimal for work, you can also get access to the wi-fi. The room next door displays art, and it is nice to stop by and enjoy it. There are plenty of books you can borrow and read (all in Japanese, though). The staff is friendly and laid back, but if you want to engage with them as some customers do, they will chat with you.
